A corporate event is any form of event, hospitality or social activity which is organised or funded by a business entity. The concept of organizing a corporate event evolved to create new lead and reward employees and business partners for their work and to launch a new product. The array includes main corporate events like conferences, seminars, team building events business dinner, press conferences, networking events, award ceremonies etc.
Seminar and Conference:
Seminar and conference both indicate a meeting of several people. Seminars have an educational nature. Whereas, a conference is a structured meeting for consultation, discussion or planning.
A Corporate Anniversary is a ceremony of a company’s continued existence after a particular number of years. Generally, the ceremony is a media event which can help a business meet its marketing targets, such as advertising its identity, enriching staff motivation, creating better investor trust and ultimately boosting trust. Marketing of longevity is done by a Corporate Anniversary.
Inauguration Ceremonies are usually held for Launching a New Product/Service and Branch Opening. Traditionally, the main attraction of such programs is cutting a Red Ribbon. It is done by a noteworthy person either from outside the business or from within the business. Only the Chairperson or someone equivalent is allowed have this honor from intra-company.
Merger Ceremonies & Joint-Venture Celebration:
A merger is a business strategy of combining multiple companies into one company in order to boost the operational and financial strengths of both businesses. Whereas, a Joint-Venture is an arrangement in which multiple companies agree to collaborate with their individual tangible and intangible assets. Its purpose is executing a particular task. Merger Ceremonies are usually much grander than that of Joint-Venture Celebrations. Comparatively, Merger Ceremonies get more media coverage.
